I believe so. Sometimes when I smoke it, it is wonderful but most of the time nothing. I’m nearly finished with a tub and will not likely replace it. It simply has to be packed loosely and sipped. It is very subtitle but when you hit it right it is sublime. If you get a pouch, empty it onto a dinner plate and leave it out for a week or two. It takes a long time to dry.

I am not a smoker so forgive my intrusion but I thought my latest acquisition may be of interest. A Royal Doulton ash tray.

Picked up the the Georg Jensen billiard at the mailroom last night. It's a hair smaller overall than I thought, which is okay as I like that size of pipe -- more of a small Canadian than a true billiard, as the shank is quite a bit longer than the acrylic stem. I've given it the nickname of "the Captain's Pipe": The four brass trim rings remind me of the four stripes on a naval captain's sleeve.

It somehow suggests to me it would be a good pipe for a burley blend like Edgeworth Match. . . .
