Jitterbug Perfume

by Tom Robbins...has anyone read this? It is a trippy, interesting journey that involves the history of scent wrapped around an old medevial king, his women, Pan, and how perfume..cologne..edt, etc link them together (sort of)...

Seems an appropriate question in this particular part of the forum--and if you haven't, it is worth the journey through the book.

I have read that book within the past few years. Robbins is one of my favorite authors. The secret ingredient in the perfume is something quite odd.

Great book, great author! I have read just about all of Robbins's work, and enjoyed them all. I'm guessing that, since I read "Jitterbug Perfume" years ago, before I discovered the wonderful world of scent, that it's due for a re-read. Thanks for the reminder!

i love "still life with woodpecker" especially

i have a personal letter from robbins somewhere - he is a genius
