James Bronnley Cream

Has anyone tried this? I have the aftershave and like the scent so I thought I'd try the cream. It was pretty light and airy when I scooped some out. I prepared it the same way I have been for TOBS (which I always get a good lather with). It seemed to lather in the cup ok, but it was thin once I applied it. Then it pretty much disappeared on one side of my face while I was shaving the other side.

Maybe I need to use more to make a thicker lather?

I bought a jar of this cream at TK Maxx a couple of months ago and find it excellent. Mind you, I face lather everything!

Thin? You're probably using too much water and too little product. I received a sample of this particular cream from the fine folks over at Colonial Drug and found it to be excellent.

Thanks for the input. I'll give it another go with less water and more product. I did pretty much the same as I do with TOBS, but it didn't work out as well.

Its a great cream, I got samples from Colonial Drug and I loved it. Performed perfect, so you may review your technique and use more product and less water. It seems for me that a few guys here take way too little cream and too much water.

I had a tough time making a decent lather with it too, and I used a LOT of cream. I ended up using all of the sample John from Shaving Essentials sent me in an effort to make it work. I gave up and used a tiny amount of Trumpers, which kicked a LARGE amount of Bronners to the curb.

The Bronners smelled good though!

Bronnley also make the Calssic Shaving cream and that is an easy latherer...lots of thick lather
