Cremo Original Classic my 2cents

Cremo Original Classic is different cream, not sure if I will love or hate? Maybe after getting proper lather bowl will work better, but this product works ok. But in my World has problems.

Direction say use apply amount “Size of Almond” on wet face, work in with fingers, to make lather. It doesn’t lather up much, but does put what I will describe as shave film on Beard.

Shaver does glide & shaves well, but because stuff is so sticky. It is big pain to apply second coat of Cremo. Messy.

Good was for me there was a residual of Cremo on face, after pass one, made it easy to do second pass without adding much product for second pass.

This is only second day of use, will keep trying to use, until New Lather Bowl Arrives. This product could be a trick to mastering.

The one good feature of this product is, it leave face soft, maybe it is also skin conditioner.

Shall keep reporting results.

I often apply a thin coat of this under questionable soaps. The improved slickness is nice. I also used to keep a tube of this and a disposable razor for when I needed a 60-second shave.

It was only a couple years ago that I used shaving creams of various types 90% of the time. I considered swirling a brush around in a mug or bowl to be a tedious "delay of game".

That has reversed entirely. Now my creams see action as components of a travel shave away from home.

Well being stubborn, I do not want to give up on Cremo.

Tomarrow I will make another shot at finding how to get lather out of it.

What changed? You were singing Cremo praises a while back, buying up tubes and recommending it to people in Underrated Gems thread and Best Inexpensive cream.

It goes to show you, sometimes you do get what you pay for.

I've never used Cremo, but do use KMF (Kiss My Face) cream, which is a brushless cream from what I remember. It lathers very well and is amongst the slickest products out there. My suggestion, use 2-3x as much as you think you need and very little water. See how that goes. If it doesn't work, increase the water a bit. If it still doesn't work, toss it all and move on.

Creamo is a tube with two dollar off coupon work, is a great deal at New cost of $2.13. Plus it works well on my beard.

Creamo was on sale a while back at USAF Commissary net cost per tube was like 63 CENT USD with $2.00Off Coupon, bout a couple, wish I bought more.
Every time I go too USAF Commissary I look at CREAMO, and hope for Two Dollar off Coupon, net cost $2.20.

This your get what you pay for is very subjective. Not everything that cost a lot is good.

Cremo is very very slick.

Trust me I will figure out how to bet the Cremo to lather.

Trail & Error takes time, it time I will master the product.

I never try to lather Cremo. I aim for a thin wet slippery film, not a lather. If the film seems at all sticky, add more water. I have found Cremo works very well used that way. If I want a lather I'll use a soap. Bottom line, Cremo is not a soap and will probably disappoint if what you want is a lather.

Well I just got done watching couple of U-Tubes on using Cremo. One nugget of info was to work longer with fingers, adding more water. The one thing is because this product doesn’t form up. You have to keep track of where you have shaved. Then add a little more water on finder to reactivate.

Cremo has positives, and negatives. But I would say not a Bad Product, but not to everyone liking.

I use Cremo just like I use Noxzema Classic Clean, Jack Black's Beard Lube, and Barbasol 1919. It works great as intended -- massaged directly into the beard from the tube. Not lathered with a brush. Treat it like a lube, not a lather.

That is the trick.

I usually shave directly after a hot shower. I'm usually pretty sweaty after the shower ... so I dab my face dry with a towel and then apply the Cremo (or one of the others I listed above). I usually don't have to add any water. Sweat doesn't turn off like a spigot -- the additional sweat is more than enough (I know, gross). Don't skimp on the product (almond size amount is just ridiculous) ... have a well lubricated shave.

Do you feel sir, that kiss my face is worth trying? Any advantages over other creams that it has that you can tell me about?

It's worthy trying. I enjoy a couple of the no nonsense scents. It's always worked for me and is super slick.

A great economical choice in the large pump bottle. It's marketed as vegan and animal cruelty free, paraben free, etc. I currently have a Lavendar on the go.

Easy to add a pump to sub par soaps/creams, if that's your thing. I generally don't, but some do. If you have a multi-user shave household, like me, no worries about mystery hairs, dirty brushes, over usage.

thoughts on how it stacks up vs other economical creams, like proraso, cremo, pacific shave company etc?
