A while ago, there was a discussion about travel tubes, and one (please identify yourself if you read this, and collect your kudos) clever member suggested a shaving cream with the brush attached for travel and convenience.

Some company has put that idea into practice, and produced this:

I saw it at our local Shaver Shop, and it looked kind of silly (the brush looks like a shoe-brush, or a car-washing brush to which you attach a hose) but I immediately thought of the suggestions by one of our members several months ago.

Has anyone tried this? It is likely only available here in Oz right now, but are there any other products like this out there?

I somehow doubt this is the greatest revolution in shaving we've ever seen, but I'd be keen to hear about any experiences people have had.

Its an old idea that's being revamped for modern times. I seem to recall Gillette had a similar item several decades ago.

I'd like to see them put more info out concerning the materials involved. All they say about the brush is that its made of "natural fibers." This implies bristles made from plants, instead of animals. At least that's how it sounds to me.

There's not much said about the cream, either. It contains Aloe, but that's all they say.

A big improvement would be if they made the cream container refillable. That way, you could put any of your favorite brands in there.

I wish them luck, but I think I'll pass on this for now. My SBAD is bad enough as it is.

The brush is made from goat hair, it says on the site.....haven't heard (herd ) of that material being used before.

That brush doesn't look too comfortable -- looks like something you would use to polish your shoes.

+1. Plus, the lather looks watery to me.
