What's new

It's Good To Have A Daughter Working At Jos. A Bank.

Good evening gents. I am fortunate enough to have a JAB factory store(not outlet or seconds) that sells their factory brand and some of their full line brand mens wear. It is even better to have a family member working there. Saturday was a family sale event and I took advantage of it. Much of it was 50% off. Full line store items were 75% off. Here's the haul.

Two of their factory store brand suits. One pair of 100% linen trousers. One fitted light blue dress shirt. One of their silk ties. One of their full line store wallets. I really cannot divulge final price total but suffice it to say it was a good day indeed. I will try to get some photos posted.

Cheers, Todd

I was thinking recently of buying a Jos A Bank suit so I would really like to see the pics

It depends on which type of suits you bought since the quality varies so drastically between the lowest and highest tiered suits. Also, why can't you share the prices since you are anonymous and we have no idea what store you went to and your daughter works at?

I was just unsure of whether the family sale is publicly known or not. Do not want to cause her any issues. The retail prices are very good anyway but I do not know if they vary from one market area to another. Hence my reluctance to state price. This was not my daughter's choice but mine.

If you find a factory store you can easily deduce the prices since they were a flat 50% off whatever was marked. Again, these factory stores are sort of unique. They have their own line and also carry some of the full retail line. Likely last years stuff. Never any seconds. The factory line suit is called "Classic" and is made with a 90 thread count. Very pedestrian but at half price they were a steal. When she first started there they had some of the retail line "Premier" sport jackets(100 thread count, the lowest in the retail line) and they originally had price tags of nearly $400. I managed one of those, a fitted shirt, tie, and trousers for under $200 taxes all in. You chaps really need to find one of these stores. Even the civilian prices are quite good.

Cheers, Todd

Hey chaps. A quick search tells the story. Here is the LINK to the factory stores. I managed one of the suits at the $119 range for half price. So there. Now you know.
