Is TOBS Rose supposed to be liquid?

Ordered a jar of TOBS Rose. It's pretty runny. If my jar of Jermyn St. is like, say, soft ice cream, the Rose is like a milk shake...it pours.

Normal? If not, is there a way to firm it back up?

Seems to shave just fine...it's just sort of messy.

Really enjoying Taylor's creams...amazing lather and almost too easy to produce.

No, it should not be like that. It must have separated on you. I'm not sure if there is a way to recover the proper consistency.

This sometimes happens when shipping creams in the summer heat. Some members have had success rescuing running tubs by placing the tub in the refrigerator for a day or two, and stirring the contents frequently.

Stick it in the fridge (0-5 degrees c) for 5 or 6 hours, carefully give it a stir & return to the fridge for another 5 or 6 hours.
Remove from the fridge & keep in a cool, dark place. That should do it. :001_smile

My TOBS Grapefruit was like that. Much more liquidy than the avocado and sandalwood I've had. It stayed like that while it was hot out but as the nights and mornings have cooled off, the cream has gotten a little firmer.

I got one like that back in June. Coconut. It has firmed up a little over time, but probably not like it should be. I've never experienced TOBS any other way, so I don't know exactly what the consistency should be. If I lay the tub on its side it will still all flow down and take the loose shape of 1/2 of the tub.

I will order some more, but I will wait till it's cooler down here. Not sure when that is though.
