Are all Gillette adjustable safety razors slim or only some? I bought one from e bay and I'm not sure if there are 2 types, slim and not slim or just slim. how can I tell which I have.

There is a Slim, a Fatboy, and a Super Adjustable. The Fatboy is shorter than the Slim, but if you don't have both and are new it can be hard to tell the difference. The Super Adjustable has a black handle.
Can you post a pic, I'm sure it could be identified in no time at all. You can link to the closed Ebay auction if you like. If not, what is the date code on the underside of the head. Should be a letter on one side and a number on the other. The Slim and Fatboy did not overlap so we should be able to answer from that.

which Adjustable do you mean?
Was there a length difference in the Fatboy adjustables? I see 1 & 2 in your pic but I was never aware of that. Did they overlap production?
Also, what is the difference in the super slims, 9 & 11? I assume metal composition?
9 has the metal blade tray while 11 has the plastic base.
I don't know the difference in the Fat Boys either though and would be very interested to learn.

No1 is a Red Dot Fatboy "D1"
No2 is a "normal" Fatboy, I´m not sure, but i believe since "D2"
they have the same lentgh

Oooh can you name the adjustables in the pic? some look very exotic. I have #7. I didnt know if there was a longer handle version of that called a slim or if that was what I had. Thanks
if what you have looks just like #7 then you have a slim. other than it being shorter and fatter, the fatboy (#1 and 2) is different on the adjustment knob so make sure you look closely at that as well.

Would you have an objection if I snuck in your house and borrowed the Executive Fat Boy, The Red Dot, and the Bottom Dial. I promise I would return them.

Hmmm . . . one would have to be the bottom dial fatboy that dials to only 5 . . . I think. Does the toggle have a version that goes only to 5 as well?
