Irisch Moos Pre Shave Question

Gentlemen,

My friend is returning from Germany on Monday and she has bought me both the Irisch Moos Aftershave (which I ran out of ten years ago!) and the Pre Shave, and she's going to try and pick up some shaving cream too before she leaves.

My pre-shave routine doesn't in include a pre-shave liquid (occsionally I'll put a little pre-shave oil on, but only every now and then). Has anyone every tried Irisch Moos' Pre Shave? I'm not exactly sure what to do with it!
I suppose I could use it in the post-shave routine - like before the final aftershave splash. At any rate, looking for feedback or suggestions!

I'm not 100% positive, but I believe that it is intended as an electric pre-shave treatment, normally to make the whiskers stand more on end. (there is a Tabac version as well)

I don't know how, if at all, it would aid in a wet shave.

That is my understanding as well. The Tabac version is explicitly called a "Pre-Electric Shave".

That's kind of what I was thinking too. I hope not, as you can imagine, I don't use an electric shaver!

Plus, I just don't have the heart to say "oh and by the way, the money and time you spent on the pre-shave is useless, can you return it?" Talk about being an ingrate! I'll see if I can use it somehow - maybe mix in a little WITCH HAZEL?? Or, better yet, see if I can trade or sell it to another B&B member.
