Injector advice needed

I'm about to have my first Injector shave in a few hours. Can anyone tell me what to expect as far as aggressiveness vs. a Gem or Gillette Super Speed?

Just curious what to expect before I go at it.

Sounds like a Type E,much more agressive than a SuperSpeed and more agressive than many GEMs.Through the years after the Type E the Shick razors become less agressive over time. The Type L's for example, can be quite mild.

I generally like agressive razors that show plenty of blade but for some reason I prefer the Type I series of Shicks which I believe to be a perfect compromise. If I want a more agressive shave from them I thin out my lather.

If thatis a Type E you have there....I would go with a thick, rich protective lather and keep the blade cover almost parallel to your skin then slowly angle until you find a comfortable technique to shave with.

Yeah from your description it sounds like I have an E type.

I just finished my shave and I can say it's far more aggressive than any Super Speed. It's definitely a more comfortable shave than any Gem I've used. I did have a thick Arko lather, esp. on my final pass.

The shave was beautiful by the way! One minor nick in my usual problem area, but that's it. No irritation whatsoever.
