Hoping to get some feedback from you GEM razor experts. I just bought my first GEM razor...Clog Pruf and I'm not sure if the blade is being held correctly. Can anyone tell me from the pictures if this is how the blade should look once installed? Seems like the blade is down too far and the edges are exposed and create a little discomfort while shaving. Not ever having one of these I'm just curious if this looks right. Thanks.

The blade should fit into the blade stops, which look like little hooks at either side of the edge. The edge of the blade should be more or less even with the teeth on the guard.
The guard on mine has around 17 teeth. May be a later version.

The right and left lower tip of the blade should be seated into clips on each end to prevent the blade from shifting. It appears only the pressure from the top plate spring is holding the blade. Open the top plate and re-aligned the blade into those clips.

I think the blade stops on your razor are damaged. Here is what mine looks like.
Yours is jacked up. It's missing the blade stops on the ends.

Very easy to see your blade stops. Mine look like they aren’t as prevalent. Thank you for the picture.
