I've been enjoying my Henson mild for months and have neglected my other DEs. Yesterday I gave the Progress, my very first DE acquired almost 20 years ago, a run on a 6-8 day growth. I've always liked the Progress in this kind of situation because I can do the first pass dialed down very mild and then amp it up for the final pass(es).
I've heard Henson users describe the shave as "no fuss" and that is the best description I can apply to my shave with the Progress. Simple, comfortable, and an excellent result. I think that the Progress is the best handling DE on South to North passes that I have ever used, and also the best ever for blade buffing.
