"I'm Looking For A Few Good Christmas Cards"

Since the weather's nice and I'm jamming to Alvin and the Chipmunks and Sesame Street on Spotify, that can only mean one thing....

IT'S ALMOST CHRISTMAS TIME!

I have convinced my wife to let me make our own Christmas cards this year. They'll really just be notes with a picture of our son inserted. What I need is 10 or so addresses from my friends here at B&B for whom I can provide a Christmas greeting. I have a few addresses saved up from some of you, and you'll each be receiving a note from me. I'm not nearly as artistic as some, and my card may not rate refrigerator status, but I love to spread Christmas cheer! The best way, of course, is singing loud for all to hear; so maybe I'll sing a song into each card I send!

Nope. Never too early for Christmas. But I'm juggling quite a lot this holiday season and need to get an early start if I hope to accomplish it.

Good luck trying to accomplish everything you need to do. I don't really get the holiday season. People packing into stores (or crashing the internet) trying to get what they believe is a great deal on a sell out item. I hear people all the time complaining about what gifts they got and having to see people they don't like. How about be more grateful for what you have and get and stop being greedy and selfish. If you don't like someone than don't spend time with them, it is that simple.

I was in a hobby store Saturday with my son collecting supplies for a diorama, Christmas music was piped in loud and clear.

I couldn't agree more. There are so many movies, songs, and ideas about "what Christmas is all about." Unfortunately, they're all wrong. Christmas (as I observe it) is about one person. The Christmas season for me, is best observed by trying to be as much like that one person as possible.

Ok, I will send you mine if you want. I will be starting a sign up thread soon. Usually what we do is find every one who wants to exchange a card, then print out a list. Every one sends a card to the person above and below them in the list. Of course, more exchanges can take place if desired. I know I am up to about 23 B&B members, mainly from PIFs, trades, etc.

Owen its probably best to leave Jessys thread to his hard work in making his own cards... we can start a "Nib Christmas Card Exchange" thread when the time suites you that way Jessys stuff doesnt get lost in the shuffle and those looking to the yearly exchange can properly find it keep everything all neat and proper like

I think a "Secret Santa" Card exchange would be fun! That way you don't know who has you. We could either make one of the Stews do all the hard work of keeping it secret, or have everyone sign up on Elfster.
