What's new

I'm Canadian. I made my famous super hot chili

There is chili, and then there is:

I think I'm gonna be sick. :scared:

If you need convincing that slow-cooked meat and beans can do wonderful things together, let me introduce you to this dish hailing from the south of France (they don't call it chili there either):

I spent some of my childhood in Texas; I'm firmly in the chili should not have beans camp. That said, I do love a bowl of beans, whether it's refried, red beans, or cooked some other way (including with a meat sauce*).

*Of course, the use of the beans (and likely, tomatoes) would disqualify it from being a chili.

Don’t be talking to me about being sick. You like that damn wolf brand chili…Without beans I’ll give you that.

Cousin and I, at uncle's ranch, used to put the (empty) Wolf brand chili can on a fence post and shoot the wolf on the label with a .22. We perforated a lot of cans. :a33:

Wolf brand chili goes good on a Frito pie...and a chili dog. :biggrin1:

I’d shoot that with my .22 before even opened. Down range though.

We dont have that kind in Canada, that I've ever seen. We do have its evil cousin though.
