Im a celebrity...Why am I watching

I am flipping through the channels and land upon this travesty. I cant seem to stop watching this tool named Spencer Pratt who thinks hes an international superstar. All I know of his "celebrity" is the fact that hes famous for being a tool.

More so...I have to ask myself why I am watching this crap. What happened to quality TV (if there is such a thing).

I blame the whole idea on the movie... The Truman Show...but that movie was actually entertaining.

I suppose you could look at it that way. I really liked the surreal and off-kilter style of the film though.

Happily, I don't know who Spencer Pratt is.

This is the first time I have heard of Spencer Pratt as well. Dang, there are a lot of TV people that I have never heard of. The reason? My family doesn't watch TV! I am proud to say that I have NEVER watched the following: American Idol, Survivor, Housewives, or the slew of shows that people endlessly talk about. Our TV gets turned on maybe once a month and it is only to watch a movie that we purchased or to play my Xbox360. Do I feel like I am missing out? Nope.

Just to give you an idea of how long its been since I have watched TV, the last shows that I kept up with were "Party of Five" and then the first season of "Rescue Me".

I'm not knocking people for watching TV but at this point in my life, I am very anti-TV.

Quality tv costs money, while people are willing to make an a____ of themselves for basically nothing-thus, the plethora of so-called 'reality shows'.
They (the networks) wouldn't accept my idea-taking overweight people and putting them in the serengeti; whoever gets out can be crowned the biggest loser and survivor all in one. Now I would definitely tune in for that-who knows-maybe no contestant makes it and the predators all win(who i'd be rooting for anyway).
