He is still in my rotation and fills the gap between the Simpson Pure and Best Spcl.

I wish I could get a Tweezerman knot in a simpson handle. I really dig the knot that much.

+1 on the Wee One, but it is a gamble since it seems to be a love it or hate it brush. WCS has the Berkeley 46 at $49 before the B&B discount, that isn't too far out of your price range.

I'd suggest saving a few more dollars and getting either a Commordore or a Colonel. Two of the finest brushes I have ever used.

I am contemplating an Omega 655 from WCS - I'm pretty happy with my Omega 11047 mixed badger & boar and it looks like the 655 is exactly the same size in silvertip. $40 without any discount.
