What's new

I was missing something...Sinatra!

So, I have been thoroughly enjoying my DE wetshave experience. It has become a favorite morning ritual that I look forward to daily. However, I have been feeling that something was missing. Then it struck me...I was missing some good 'ole Frank Sinatra!!! So, off to the store I went to get a suitably sized, retro-lookin' table top player that I can now pipe Sinatra through via my MP3 player. Now, we are really "cookin' with Crisco"!!!! A DE shave with Sinatra in the morning is perfect!:thumbup::thumbup:

Oh absolutely (not so much the Sinatra part, although I have nothing against him or his music) music is an integral part of my morning shave. All the experts say you should allow your skin some time to 'wake up' in the morning before you shave.

Nothing wakes my skin up like the new Kiss double album :a5:

I don't think anyone would be advised to listen to the 'In The Wee Small Hours' album with a razor in hand tho.

"I have got you under my skin?" Hey, everybody misses Ole Blue Eyes, no?:crying:

One of my favorites. I don't always listen to the "standard" singers, but there are definitely times where they are very appropriate. Seems to me that shaving with a device that is a dose of nostalgia in and of itself deserves some Frankie! If only I could work a martini into the mix as well! (just kiddin') :001_cool:

Awesome idea...Now I have to go fire up mine in the morning. Though, as much as I love Frank, I think I might have to throw in a little Dino and Sammy as well! :thumbup1:

I listen to Frank every morning along with Dino, Rosemary Clooney, etc. I find it relaxing. Some days my son even comes in and starts it for me!

Music is a part of every morning shave.

Sinatra is always a good selection (September of My Years is always a fave).

During the week while getting ready for work:

Frank
Dean
Miles
Paul Desmond
Nat King Cole
Chet Baker
Bill Evans
John Coltrane

I was listening to Sinatra Live At The Sands last night. "We feel sorry for the people that don't drink. The way they feel when they wake up in the morning is the best they're going to feel all day.":laugh::laugh:
