I think I found a NEW Big Boy De Luxe in the wild today.for $15. Am I correct?

I'm usually really good at identifying vintage Gillettes, but wasn't sure with this one. I found it on craigslist and the seller said it was his grandfathers--I almost felt bad buying it from him. Anyhow I got this for $15 and I'm thinking its a NEW Big Boy. Its alot heavier than my double ring, and the handle reminds of my barbasol floating head DE. Am I correct on identifying this one? The flat bottom New head is generally referred to as the New DeLuxe.

It came in many different configurations.

One being the Big Boy.

There is a hairline crack on the handle...not sure if I should spend the $ to replate.

Most razors from the era have the crack at either the top or the bottom of the handle. It's worth a replate in my opinion...

They were made from 1929 to February 1931/ New De Luxe Big Boy was sold in either 24 kt gold or chrome plate

No, the head is called a New Deluxe head. It is a chromium plated Big Boy (I think you have a rare Big Boy/ Big Fellow Variant in your collection, dont you?)
