I really did not want to like it!

Well,
after a few years of hearing how great Proraso Shave Soap is, I finally got around to trying it. Up 'till now I've been using VdH, Williams (and YES it does lather & work well for me) Mamma Bears and a few others along the way. VdH has been my go-to soap for many years now (since I've used up all my O/S & Colgate) and I have been very happy with it. For the price it's just plain hard to beat!

So I finally got off my butt and ordered the Green Proraso in the tub. I REALLY did NOT WANT to like it because I have no more room left in my shave Den and don't need more clutter around here. Well........... I could not help but like it. It lathered easily, gave an exceptionally well protected - 3 pass BBS shave, even with a blade that should have been replaced. I face lather and had to guess how much to load the brush with, but now next time I'll know. The smell is just like you guys have reported, NOT over powering but pleasant, and it leaves your face smooth as a baby's butt!

The next time I order I'll get a few of them (Royal Shave pay's the freight over $25.00) which will bring the cost down, and now thanks to you guys I'll be straightening out my shave den to try & find some room! I hope Proraso does not come out with the Red stuff in Tub form!!

Proraso is one of my high, commercial, imported, shave soap that I love. I usually like small and obscure companies that are not well distributed but that one, it's a keeper.

Another Proraso fan here. I like the Pre-shave as well. I'm working my way through a tub of the old formula and look forward to trying the new formula when I finish the old one.

I really like my proraso tub, it gives an amazing shave and is really easy to lather, and the smell is quite pleasant, Im happy I can buy it locally!
