I pretty much went soap crazy this past week

I decided to stock up on some soap this past week and I pretty much went crazy...I think I'm still coming off the purchase high.

The mail person will be bringing me the following:

Tabac
MWF
Mike's
Strop Shoppe
MdC
PannaCrema
DR Harris
QCS

I think I'll be set for a while and may have to start shaving my entire body to make a dent in this haul. I can only imagine the looks I'll be getting from SWSBO.

Now I need to make my Christmas list.

It shouldn't be too bad, and if it is, all I have to do is point at all the half used hand and face creams she's got under her sink. Granted, I'll never win that fight, but at least I would feel a little more justified as I make up the couch for the night's sleep.

HAHA, I tried that similar idea, Her 6 drawers full of stuff to my 2 drawers of shave bits, all hell broke loose when I encroached into one of her drawers.

I'm thinking the key is to get myself my own large cabinet.

QCS - Green Irish Tweed (tack on to my PannaCrema order from Old Town Shaving)
MdC - Unscented and Fougere
DR Harris - Arlington (got this with my Tabac and MWF order)

Stupid free shipping always gets me. If I can get free shipping, I'll spend enough to get it. Also, with shipping from Mike's and SS being so unreliable (timeliness-wise)...these orders should trickle in between now and Christmas. I should have something new to try every shave.

Also, I know that this is a ton of stuff and not cheap, but this hobby is SoOo much cheaper that my photography stuff, my wife won't even notice/care. Seriously, after a $4.5K lens (Nikon 300mm f/2.8 VRII)...nothing is going to phase her.

Great, and great selection too. You should be set for a few years now if the AD doesn't hit you again. Be sure to give us some periodic updates on how you like each of these and how you like them compared to each other.

Damon carries a ton of imported goods and he has most of it in stock. Give him a call if you don't want to wait for PannaCrema to reload their website. Just look over in the vendor forum, he's got a few posts there and his phone number is posted. He's a new vendor and doesn't have a website yet, so you'll have to actually call to order.

Plus you'll go through all those soaps quicker. You know what that means...
