See if your Nordstroms carries Tam Dao so you can sniff it locally. Sort of cedar/sandalwood that's very nice.

Since you like PdN New York: try Guerlain Habit Rouge. They both have a similar vibe to me though they don't really smell similar

Since you like TdH: try MFK APOM, my favorite orange or neroli scent. I'll also suggest Encre Noir and Tam Dao as they share a big dose of Iso E Super

Since you like TF Grey Vetiver but not Guerlain Vetiver: try Annick Goutal Vetiver and MPG Racine which are both nice without the tobacco harhness of GV

DRH Windsor- Tried this and it is very similar to TDH. I find the longevity is not very good on me though. Sprayed it this morning and about 1 hour later it was barely noticeable by my wife.

Creed OV- Bought this one as well. Same problem as DRH Windsor. No longevity. Sampled it on inside of my forearm and it was gone in 30 minutes.

I'm not good at describing it as I am still a newbie, but I would say the masculine woodsy note is a big draw for me. I love it in Terre D Hermes. I bought the sample of norne and LOVED it too.

I don't mind a more "fresh" or "green" scent either. Not a big fan of aquatics but I will wear them (Issey). I can't do Aqua di Gio- too many people overspray this one and I find it as an offensive/juvenile scent.

I also bought Guerlain HR from a B&B member. Too powdery for me. I almost don't like PdN NY because of the powder note, but it is not as noticeable as the HR.

YSL L'Homme....it has marginal longevity, but I love it while it lasts ;-)

Try Cool Water, it is very similar to GIT in the top notes. Give YSL La Nuit a go too.

I recently bought Quicksilver's edt as a nice budget fragrance and the opening has bitter orange and grapefruit notes that to my novice nose remind me very much of Terre d Hermes.
