I got some Barbasol AS's today

I went by Dollar General today and grabbed some barbasol Pacific Rush and Brisk.

I like the Pacific Rush but didnt really feel the menthol rush people talk about. The scent is a very pleasant "Summer" scent to me. But I fear it wont hang with me long. Like most aftershaves it appears do die of pretty quickly with my chemistry.

I havent heard much about the Brisk scent here. It smelled good, maybe I will try it Wednesday.

The Brisk is great.Its like Skin Bracer,but to me its lighter than Skin Bracer.

I use both regularly. Brisk seems longer lasting to me than Pacific Rush. OTOH, PR has more menthol, I believe. Makes my eyes water when I splash it on.

I like Pacific Rush but don't like the scent at all of the Brisk. It's just too strong for me. Pacific Rush is hands down my favorite Aftershave. I could use it daily and be perfectly happy.

Back in March and April I was using the Barbasol AS, both types, after my barber at the Groom Room recommended them. It's definitely got the bang for the buck.

They really do and to be under $2 is a great value.

I've got some Pacific Rush that's going to be hard to replace once it's gone, as there are no Dollar General stores to be found out here in the Pacific Northwest.

There's some irony in that.

Wearing Pacific Rush now-my favorite of the two. Clean and aquatic with a blast of menthol. Seems to be a bit stronger in menthol than Proraso(old forumula). Brisk tends to be a little too strong and barbershoppy for me-sometimes I'm in the mood for that though.

For whatever reason my neighborhood Brooklyn pharmacy Neergaard stocks the Barbasol AS. I have never seen it anywhere else.

The Brisk is amazing, I use the Vijon all the time. I wish I could get my hands on the Barbasol one and the Pacific Rush, I've heard it's a great aquatic.

Oh wow... I do like the Brisk! It didnt do much for me in the bottle, but at 1.75 I thought "why not". I like it! It does have a classic "barber shop" smell. Not as much as my other fav... clubman but close! NICE!!!

Pacific Rush is one of the three splashes I use almost everyday, along with the classic Clubman and Spice, the dollar store (can't remember which dollar store, though) version of Old Spice.

Love 'em all. Now I'll have to pick up some Brisk ...

Barbasol Brisk is the exact same thing as the ViJohn Brisk. Vijohn makes aftershaves for Barbasol (they also make Skin Bracer for Colgate).

Love Pacific Rush, a great AS all around, scent, moisturizes and soothes, wonderful feeling. ViJon seems to produce good quality at bargain prices.

Funny I was just about to start a thread talking about how much I love Barbasol Pacific Rush. It won't unseat my #1 AS which is Alt Innsbruck, but behind that is my favorite. Who woulda thunk a Dollar General store aftershave would be one of my favorites at a solid #2.

I was looking hard at the Pacific Rush when I happened across some of the discontinued Musk that Barbasol used to make on the DG clearance rack. It is the nicest musk I've tried so far. I then went back and bought up the rest that they had. Once I use up the stock I'll be giving pacific rush a try.
