What's new

I can't have so much as $5 in my pocket without wanting to spend it on shaving stuff.

So I made a little money selling some DEs this evening. Nothing huge, and I transferred some of it into my bank account to help with bills and the like. I still have $20 unspoken for, though, and I'm going mad thinking of things to spend it on. In the past half hour, I've looked at more soaps, creams, aftershaves, scuttles, and DEs than you could imagine.

What's some really good bang-for-your-buck cheap stuff that I may be unaware of? I'm doing well in the hardware department for now, so let's talk software. Thanks in advance!

I think you should get out of town so you can roam all the little towns in rural Missouri and Illinois. You'll find some incredible stuff hiding out there. I lived in St. Louis for a bit (Soulard) with my ex and we'd go visit her family in Neeleyville. There's lots of interesting places and junk stores between there and St. Louis.

Oh, I know I should. Believe me. I'm hoping to do just that in the next month or so. But that's a whole 'nother conversation altogether.

Anyway, how does a bottle of Ogalalla Bay Rum Lime & Peppercorns and a tub of Mama Bears Spicey Lime soap sound? Sounds like a nice combo to me...

WOW everyone is from STL in here. I just saw a post about a pottery shop in Alton that sells some mighty nice scuttles for $30. Thats close to your price range.

They dont have any pics of them on the web page, but the scuttle looked just about like a Schwarzweisskeramik, but with much more vibrent color.

I also just purchased a large bottle of LV, Osage Rub and a RazoRock from Atlanta Barber and Beauty: http://stores.atlantabarber.com/-strse-Liquids-fdsh-Creams-fdsh-Talc/Categories.bok for $25 including shipping.

Feeding the ADs!

I know what you mean. I have gone a little crazy this week: a Feather all SS, a Joris open comb, a Merkur Classic 1904, TOBS Sensitive Cream, Thayers Cucumber WH/AV, Taylor Lavender Water, Super Iridiums and red Israelis.

Oh man, did I really spend that much? Looks like a sabbatical for me for the rest of the year.

Ah yes, the AD's are alive and well, and they are everywhere. No matter what you do, or have, somewhere, sometime, when you least expect it............... :thumbup1:

I swore I wasn't going to be one of those people who buys DE razors just because they look nice. after all, i've been getting BBS shaves with the first DE I ever bought.

I've bought 3 DE's in the last 7 days :001_rolle
