I've been using a DE for about 20 years but usually used Merkur or store bought blades. I've been trying a number of the blades discussed here and today it was the Feather's turn. Wow, I see what I have been missing. Nice, comfortable, smooth shave with no cuts, nicks or weepers. Going to have to order a bunch of them.

People swear by Feathers. If I were you I'd consider a blade sampler pack from West Coast Shaving before purchasing large numbers. You may find one that works even better for you.

I am also newly converted to Feathers and am loving them.
Has anyone else looked on Amazon for sample packs? I found one that has 18 different blades: Derby Extras, Shark Super Stainless, Crown Super Stainless, Lord Super, Lord Platinum Class, Lord Super Chrome, Lord Classic, Asco Super Stainless, Vidyut Super Max Platinum, Vidyut Super Max Stainless, Big Ben Super Stainless, Treet Classic, Astra Superior Stainless, Blue Bird High Stainless, Trig Silver Edge Stainless, Gillette 7 O'Clock Super Stainless, Feather Hi Stainless, And a Mystery Blade in no box, but still factory wrapped(?). 100 blades total, and all for only $20 shipped. Been looking everywhere for the best deal with the most variety, and I think I may have hit the mother lode! Think this is the one I'll try, and I'll get back to everyone in about 4 1/2 months with reviews. Ha ha!
