The question would be for the ones that tried the most known brands of soaps. I would like to know what soap should I buy, regardless of scent, that can take the most amount of water, or that allows the blade to glide on the face in the smoothest way possible. Also, if it lathers easy, is a plus.
I obtained pretty nice results with Proraso Soap for sensitive skin combined with 5 drops of glycerin. But I am sure that there should be something better then this, that reduces the friction between face and blade better.
One other awesome thing I did, was to add 2 blades with its edges cut, just to make my Muhle 89 more aggressive, and guess what: I was actually able to cut directly with the blade on the beard without touching my face with the safety bar first, now that was luxurious, and absolutely no blade harshness.
