How's your follicular mass?

Sorry B&B'ers, I heard that term in an, "infomercial" of sorts recently and I just had to use it.

The real purpose of my post is with Thanksgiving coming up tomorrow in the US, it got me thinking a bit. I have been going through a particularly difficult time at work recently and been under a lot of stress. I just got into wetshaving a short time ago and discovered this forum. It has provided me with an outlet and some much needed stress relief and a way to take my mind of things from time to time.

So, I just wanted to say thanks to you all. Thanks to the veterans who pass on their wisdom to us newbies, even when we ask basic questions, ask questions that have probably been asked a dozen times before, etc. Thanks to the other newbies for their enthusiasm and sharing their trials and tribulations. I have really enjoyed the fellowship/friendship and look forward to being part of the forum for a long time to come.

Thanks for putting into words so eloquently what we all feel about this forum.
Well stated!
A Big Thank You and Very Happy Thanksgiving to every member and their loved ones.

Hey John, My follicular mass was irritated this past weekend, but much better now. I attended a wedding, and had a bad shave on my neck from "Seeking the BBS". I took a couple of days off, and ended up getting a "DFS" without really trying too hard, so realizing that I am improving my technique when I don't try to force it.

Anyway, I've been under a lot of stress for too long for an opposite reason....lack of a job. However, I too realize that I am still very blessed, and reflect on all the things you mentioned as well. 2009 has been really tough for me, the bleak job prospects, and the sudden loss of a dear friend. I'm still standing though, and my wife and I welcomed the birth of our first child in Feb...a little boy, so I see him, and give myself a reality check, because we have a roof over our head, our health, and food on the table, and we will be surrounded by family, and love on Thanksgiving. So, I am greatly thankful for all of those things, because I realize that there are so many people out there who won't experience half the comfort I will on Thanksgiving.

I too recently discovered B&B, and have enjoyed it greatly, it has given me a bit of escape from my worries. When I shave now, all I need to do is focus on my shave, and not stress about what is going on in my life. So Thank you B&B, and wishing a Happy Thanksgiving to to all. :a21:

+1 to that. My son is 2 1/2 now and I know when I come home and he comes running to see me, all the other stuff doesn't matter so much.

Good luck to you.
