can they be loaded easily, i had a tough time and my shoulder/health issues didnt help

Loading a blade shouldn't be difficult.
This guy has pictures of a kampfe lather catcher loaded with a blade, the gem should look the same.

The Gem Junior Lather Catchers load a little differently than the Star. There is a bracket that swings up and away from the base of the head and a small bracket at the rear of the head that pivots forward and back. To load, lift the bracket and pivot the small bracket rearward, position the blade, close the swing-away bracket and then pivot the small bracket forward. Very simple.

i think that the little stem holders, the 2 thingy's that hold the blade must have been worn out, can they be fixed..like soldered back into place?
i dont see why not, but thats some pretty intricate work.

im talking about the 2 blade holder stems, it prevents the blade from sliding out...who can remake those little stem thingy's
