How tight is "quarter turn" supposed to be on a slim?

Strange question but I noticed a difference in the last quarter turn between my slim and my friends. Mine is a much tighter turn...

1) what effects the turn?
2) Does it matter?
3) Is one better than the other?
4) Any other info on this?

1) build up inside the razor
2) age/wear/usage
3) different brands of blades/different thickness/flexibility of the blade
4) setting on the scale
5) different construction period

I've just had three Slims in all at once and they all had different "turns" (amount and/or stiffness).

All good, though.

I would think it safe to say this is caused by wear.

I was hoping it wouldn't be due to wear as I am now afraid that my slim wont last a long, long time like I had hoped.

I added a drop of oil to the TTO this morning and it is a bit better but still relatively tight.

Oh well, I hope it continues to last, its such a fantastic razor!!

No, don't worry. Any wear will out live you with the Slim. Your great-grandkids will be asking the same questions about the saome razor.

As I said I only have one, but I would expect a tighter turn to be less worn.
