How many shaves out of a Dorco ST-301 Blade?

Dorco 301s are my go to blade.
They dont seem to work as well in a TTO but in a NEW, IKON or 34C I get a smooth shave.
At .10¢ a blade I usually grab a refill every shave.
So I guess my answer would be... 1.

I like the ST-301s - they work best for me in an aggressive razor, however. Not a bad blade at all.

The Dorcos are generally the only blade I use these days, and I quite like them. As for the number of shaves.....well I had one box of blades when I went to America in mid-December. I just finished that box of blades last week. During the seven months in the U.S. I shaved daily.

Interesting. I bought a 10 pack to try and will shave tomorrow with them.

My standard is 6 shaves per blade. Wonder if the Dorco's will make it?

I had a solid two day growth this morning. Showered and then went to shave after soaking the brush in the scuttle.

1st Pass - Not bad. Certainly reduced a lot of stubble, but there was a significant amount left.

2nd & 3rd Pass - Pretty nice. The 3rd pass was mainly touchup, and the fact that I am still smooth more than 12 hours after the shave means it did a creditable job.

It was also a very smooth shave and a forgiving blade. No nicks, cuts, or weepers.

This could very well be a keeper.
