How do you drink your Espresso?

• Sip it hot but with plenty of air at the same time
• Tilt the cup so you have a bit of crema with some of the espresso
• Mix the crema with the espresso in the cup before drinking

How do you best enjoy your shot?

Hello,
I need help to figure out how to make the perfect drink.

These are my measurements

Cappuccino: water: 30ml, flavour: normal, milk: 25 seconds.

Latte: water:60ml, flavour: strong, milk: 40 seconds

Espresso 1 cup: 35ml

Espresso 2 cup: how can I program it to make 1 cup at max size (240ml) to make an Americano?

I order mine Macchiato style, with the zest of a lemon if they have it. I add a packet of raw sugar and an equal volume of Half-n-Half, but do not stir. I sip at it and usually finish the whole shot in 5 minutes or less.

My Italian friends seem to think not. Nor is that how I see most consume it in local shops. Here is a snippet from Wikipedia:

I buy into one and three. In the end as long as we enjoy our individual choices we win. No wrongs in this game.

Fast ≠ instant.
A normal cup of coffee takes several minutes to drink. Espresso should last a minute or two IMO.
Start drinking as soon as it's made. Drink it as fast as is comfortable without rushing. Why have one taste when you can have a few dozen sips?

Depends on what number I am on. Almost always untainted though a spritz from lemon zest is lovely. A gentle stir, sip the first half and finish the second half before it cools too much.
