OP is from 2010. It's fascinating (to me) how basic Weller was a common, inexpensive pour then, but now it's heralded as something akin to unicorn tears. For the pricepoint quoted, and not adjusting for inflation, I'd vote for Elijah Craig or Evan Williams white (BiB).
Picked up a 750 of Weller SR at ABC just now. $24.
