HELP me pick a good bath soap from our B&B vendors

Hi Gents: I hope all is well with you & your families. After Christmas... I wanted to try out some bath soaps from our B&B vendors such as Mike's Natural Soap, Mystic Water Soap, Queen of Charlotte, & others.

So far... I like scents like Sandalwood, Bay Rum, Lemon, and Lime. Also anything "woodsy". I have never bought or tried anything bath soap related from our vendors so your suggestions will be welcomed. Thanks in advance and I look forward to reading your suggestions.

Of those you mentioned, the only bath soap I've used is QCS. I am sure the others are quite fine, but I love the QCS scents, and I'm completely satisfied with their performance as well. I've no reason to look elsewhere.

Sue is having a sale...http://mamabearssoaps.com/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=48. No affiliation, but a big fan of her products.
I love Mama Bears Soaps. There are plenty of scents that are woodsy to choose from, and I find them very moisturizing.
I've been a big fan of her bath soaps. I've used the Energy, Orange Orange, Misore Sandalwood, and Aged Spice. It lasts better than some of the other artisan soaps that I have tried. I like the idea that Sue has a fragrance that matches my shaving soap.

Another vote for Mama Bear's. my wife uses her stuff almost exclusively. I use it on occasion, but the scents we have are more her style than mine. I do use a couple of her shave soaps though, great products.

Peace of The Lord be with you.

One thing I can tell you. Once you use well crafted hot or cold processed artisan bath soaps you will have a hard time going back to anything off the shelf. As good as some people think brands like Penhaligon's, Trumper, and others are, the artisan bath soaps put them to shame. And usually at a fraction of the price. Just talk over the situation with the craftsmen/ladies. They are usually very helpful. They can tell you which of their soaps lather like crazy or are geared for skin care or exfoliation. Trust me, once you use a good one you will be hooked.

Cheers, Todd

I really like QCS body and shampoo bars. I like them better than Chagrin Valley ones... That being said, I will try MW's next and then Mike's eventually so that I can see which one I prefer. But QCS set the bar quite high. (Also their shaving cream and balm are great, but that is pretty common knowledge around here.)

Mike's Orange, Clove, and Cinammon. Best smelling soap ever.

All of Mama Bear's Soaps are amazing as well. For the winter, I get her winter formula. She hand makes them, so you can get any scent you want. My two favorites are Autumn Lodge and Amber Romance. The soaps really help dry skin for winter time.

Lastly, anything bay rum is a winner from all the vendors at B&B. There are some great bay rum soaps out there.

Thank Gents for all of your responses. Since... I have not tried out any Queen of Charlotte products, I just pulled the trigger on some bath soaps from QCS. I got 4 for the price of $20. I got the sandalwood, bay rum, old spice, and lemongrass.
