Help! Knot size wisdom needed

I've got a chance to swap for a handmade wooden brush handle, bored out to one inch diameter. That one inch equals 25.4 millimeters. What size knot should I be looking to glue into that handle? Do any of the standard sizes (24 ml) fit just right into the hole? Or was it a mistake to bore a hole an inch wide?

Thanks in advance for sharing your knowledge, guys.

One-half inch depth. I don't know if that's right or too shallow. I don't have a knot ready and waiting. I'd need to order one.

I'm a total newbie at this, but I've got a chance for a nicely stained wooden handle that would match a razor and stand that I already own. Thanks for any advice!

I would drill it a bit deeper, maybe 15 mm. You will need room for a drop of two part epoxy.

And buy this knot. :wink2:

Looks a TGN 24 mm knot is in my future. Should I go with Finest fan or F2 bulb? TGN doesn't have an F2 fan.
