Heated Razor Handle!

Did "first shave" with the Merkur Futur today and noticed the handle had a soft warmth after finishing! The mass of metal in the handle acts like a heat sink. Try that with a Mach 3!

Seems the Merkur Vision could be slipped in a coat pocket on cold mornings in lieu of gloves.....

I soak my razor along with my brush.

Hot face, warm lather and brush are great. A cold razor on my face in the winter is not pleasant. I don't know how much heat the handle holds, I put the razor back in the hot water while I relather.
