Hat Size Reducer

I have a straw tilly that is a smidgen too big. I have some hat tape in it that works fine, but I think I'd prefer some foam that's a little firmer and less squishy. Any recommendations?

I believe I got them with my Stetsons.

If there's a hat store or Boot Barn near you, they usually give away the little foam strips for free. Otherwise, strips of window/door insulation work fine too.

Appreciated. I have a foam strip on the hat now, but I don't care for it. I have ordered some cork strips per @Multum in parvo 's suggestion.
