Talk to Rudy Vey, he is a great member AND a great brushmaker
I got mine before this last round of inflation hit the world... So I didn't pay close to that much. I would check out YourShaving or Gifts and Care.... both often have better prices that either SV website.... Their handle choices aren't as extensive...but if you are looking for a handle they don't carry and aren't in a hurry... They'll add one for you along with the next order they place with SV.Maybe for my second badger brush. The only model I can see on the website is north of $250...
I use my Pegasus Mistura in my pre-shave brush rotation... It's an excellent brush, esp. at that price range... To me, I'm not sure I could have done better... The only other brush that competes with it in that $100 range would be the Zenith Manchurian badger.. in whatever handle suits ones fancy... I have mine in a 506 Copper handle... It's a lovely brush.![]()

SV Saturday
Semogue Saturdays!
Hello friends
Rainy Saturday. Perfect for my favorite soap: SV Morado, which together with the mighty Pegasus Mistura was fantastic. I went back to Greencult 2.0 II, today with the Gillette Platinum Light Blue (1) blade from PPI, quite sharp. I finished with Floïd The Original.
With us, the magnificent Bill Evans Trio.
Rating: 10
Have a wonderful weekend and great shaves!

I contacted Rudy Vey yesterday to see if there is a way for him to provide an entry level badger brush at the $100 price point.... He said he can do that in 24mm choices, so for those looking for a quality badger knot with a custom Rudy handle, PM him and start a discussion.I use my Pegasus Mistura in my pre-shave brush rotation...
