Greatest Hits of All Time

Categories notwithstanding, what do you consider to be the truly greatest products in shaving?

I'll start:

Gillette's adjustables from the early 60s
EJ89s
Mitchell's Wool Fat
Dickenson's Witch Hazel
Old Spice

I find no brushes, blades, or peripherals like mugs, etc. in a list of the truly greatest.

The EJ89 is definitely going to go down as one of the great razors. It has been the "gateway razor" for many, including myself. It's just a fantastic product that is gentle and easy to use. You almost can't believe it when you're holding it for the first time, thinking to yourself "I'm gonna shave with this thing?!". Ahh, memories.

I would have to add in Proraso if we're talking about greatest products. This stuff is cheap, easy to lather, smells great, and it works. I prefer blue, but all varieties work well.

Blades? I think that Feather deserves to at least be mentioned.

The super speed , as mentioned above , Old Spice Soap and Old Spice mugs.
Palmolive shave sticks
Burma Shave has an important place in history IMO
Colgate shave soap [back in the day]

Greatest razor in what regard? Greatest shaver (smoothest? closest? most comfortable?)? Greatest engineering marvel? Greatest looking?

Under greatest shaver I'd probably put the Schick G type. Engineering marvel, maybe the Gillette Adjustables (FB, Slim, and SA). Greatest looking, the Gillette New Improved in silver.

#1 !!!!

Uh, would that not be in triple-plated silver?

The Gillette Fusion ProGlide because when it comes to shaving, the ProGlides thinner, finer blades give you Gillette's closest, most comfortable shave. And it's innovative Microcomb guides hair to the blade so that you can get against the grain closeness effortlessly.

On the back of the cartridge there is a "Precision Edging Blade", which gives you the ability to make crisp, defined lines and finishing touchs. Thats the prcision you need to master your facial hair like a pro.

There is so much software that performs very well, if not great. If I were to pare the list down to stuff I would be very bummed to be without it would include:
MWF
vintage OS
La Toja soap and cream
O Melhor cream
MdC
Musgo Real cream
Glyce Lyme soap (Just broke open a new round this morning. It is my last. I need a cheap hookup here, because I don't want to spend $6 a puck +shipping for it.)
444 ASB

Tabac is great, but I do not want the scent on a daily basis.

I'll probably add more as it comes to mind...

The rest can disappear from the face of the planet and I think I'd be OK.

Let me add my HD...

MWF--Loved or hated it attracts attention.
The Veg--Does any other AS command such loyalty?
Schick G--Incredible razor. It had to die so manufacturers could sell other razors.
Feather Blades--The most feared blade of all time?
