Got my first Tabac soap in the mail today.

Now I will find out what all the fuss is about. Got a 100g stick in the mail and grated it into one of my Old Spice Mugs. Tonight I will try it. From the reviews I've read here on B&B, my expectations are pretty high. JK - I'm pretty sure I am going to like it. I haven't been steered wrong yet.

Should have kept it as a stick for a little while. Tabac shave stick is KILLER... Rivals Arko as far as the lather monster part goes.

Make sure you load and load and load and load..... Then load some more. You will be rewarded for your efforts

Puck, stick or grated it's a consistently excellent soap IME, most prefer it in the colder months though I'd use it most any time of year, Enjoy!

I liked the sent OK, but like the lather even more. It was a great shave and it is now in the regular rotation.

I also just received my first order or Tabac soap; had no idea what to expect when I took my first whiff. Definitely was put off by the smell, but really got to like over just the course of my first shave with it. Performance-wise, it is definitely well up there. Very slick and cushy. I grated a bit of soap into my mug and lathered it there. However, I think my favorite scent is still Irisch Moos over Proraso pre-shave for sensitive skin; woodsy and fresh at the same time. I love coming back into my shave bathroom like 2 hours later and the scent that lingers just feels grounding and honest and solid.

The first time I smelled brand new Tabac I hated it. Recently got a sample from a forum member though and it was really nice, presumably from having aired out for a while and then been milled up

Tabac is a wonderful soap with fantastic performance. It's probably a bit of an acquired taste, like sushi- once you're hooked, you're hooked for life. Enjoy!

Tabac... the tallow-based hard soap to judge all others by! The scent takes awhile to get used to or it grows on you or maybe you just have to be chosen!. The lather is supreme. Tabac will always be in my rotation.
