Gents,
After reading through several threads the past few days, I noticed a lot of buzz about the Dollar Stores. My interest was peaked. This afternoon following work, my family and I made our way to the local Family Dollar, where I found and purchased Ivy Club Spice. What a deal! Under two bucks for a great OS clone! Then, it was on to the Dollar General. While mostly finding trinkets, which I love for some reason or other, it wasn't until we were near the ending of our shopping experience that I found the shaving supplies. My lovely better-half went on to the checkout asking me to hurry. So much to go through, so little time...but long story short. I stumbled upon Barbasol Brisk. In my haste, I went to smell it, and slightly squeezed the bottle...which caused it to drench my forearm. I hurried to the checkout shaking my arm dry and went to assist the cashier in getting things from the buggy. She first picked up a slightly scented bauble my wife was purchasing, and drew back with a ,"whoa!" "This smells great!" She sniffed it, and realized it wasn't the item as I reach her a second item. "It's you!" After a few more comments, SWMBO came over...smelled of it, and to my surprise made a bee-line for the shaving section.
Needless to say...this is the first manly, manly scent she has acted in such a way...and for $1.25, the bottle was mine. I thought you gents may enjoy the story...I did! Also, did I mention that I found Yardley of London soaps for a buck? Thanks again for the heads up on a great place to find shaving deals!!
