I would like more details on this one than I can find, like date, etc.

It is an aluminum handled TEch, that part is easy.

The handle and underside of the cap look like this one:

but there is no logo on top of the cap at all.


The slots in the guard are triangular like this one:

The lettering on the underside of the guard is right against the fold line, no margin space around it. Clockwise from the upper-left:

REG. U.S. .......... PAT. OF.

Actually, the handle is nickel plated brass. It is from the period of 1939 through the mid 1940's.

It rings like brass, so I was wondering about that. It seemed too light to be brass, though.


Anything particularly cool about this one, or is it just an $8 razor?

It's light because it's hollow.

It was a whole lot less than $8 when it was new.

The triangular slot models are purported to be more agressive than the rectangular ones, making it an aggressively mild razor.

People like them.

They're very plentiful.
