A friend who gave these to me said most Brazilian shavers rank these now discontinued blades above the Gillette Wilkinsons,also made in Brazil.I found the opposite,as happens many times amongst shavers.I got smooth bbs shaves with the Wilky,but had to give 5-7 passes along the jawline with the Azul.The 5th and final shave was not "rougher" ,but let's say less "close" with the Azul.It's a good blade,but I must rank Gillette Wilkinson Brazilian #1.

'Azul' of course is the word in Portuguese (which is spoken in Brazil, and not Spanish as most people think) for 'Azure' or as we call it, BLUE!
Azul is also Spanish for Blue... but we don't worry about that
