Just took receipt of a Gillette 1958 TV Special purchased from Ebay. It was described as a Superspeed TV Special Rhodium Plated. Everything adds up to it being a TV Special (it has the correct handle knurling), however, on receipt I've realised its made in USA (I should have spotted this in the pictures but didn't think to double check, which was stupid of me) which would mean its not in fact Rhodium plated unless it was re-plated?
It doesn't look like its been re-plated and there is no difference in the handle and head when I take a picture with a flash (whereas I believe rhodium should shine brighter under the flash?)
Am I right in thinking that this appears to be a standard USA made 1958 TV Special and it not in fact Rhodium plated?
