Does it smell very similar to the cologne and skin food? I found that GFT sandalwood cream does not, but I have not tried the soap.

No, the soap does not smell like the cologne or skin food... but it's a wonderful take on sandalwood, IMO...
I have a puck of GFT sandalwood and having sampled the cologne, the shave cream, and the skinfood I would have to say that the cream is closer to the cologne than the soap. The cream still has that bit of sweetness which the soap seems to lack. It is still a great scent though.
I have the cologne, love it. Tried the cream, didn't really like it.
