GFT Eucris Lather?

I got a puck of Eucris today and first of all it smells fantastic! Second it is incredibly slick and I got a good quick shave with my Weishi 9306 w/ Feather. But that's just it. It had to be quick, then I would have to re-lather. It actually is REALLY slick and shaves well, but it's like the lather just turns into a clear film of soap on my face? Anyone else ever get this?

This was definitely not a problem of not enough product, I loaded it up. I face lather, and my little Semogue 1460 held enough for probably 10 passes, If I scrubbed enough I could get the lather to puff up last about a minute. It's just a weird consistency. This is my first GFT puck, and I'm worried now because I have another coconut one on the way. I'll keep trying because I love the smell. Any other advice on this would be greatly appreciated as well.

I had the same problem with Eucris soap, the only way I've been able to get it to work is bowl lather a heavily loaded brush adding water drop by drop, takes about 2 minutes but does create a thick, stable lather. Hope this helps.

Eucris is the only soap I haven't been able to lather, so far, and I have a lot of soaps. I love the smell and can shave with it but the lather is just full of air bubbles and can hardly be called a lather. I've always meant to buy the cream to give it a go.

I had a puck of Eucris a while back. Just never could get it to work...traded within a month. Don't know where in FL you live, but should you find yourself neat a C&E store, do thyself a favor and pick up a cake of one of their great soaps. Sandalwood is excellent; Nomad and Sienna are also good choices.

I live in Gainesville, but I'm in Orlando a lot, and I see there's one at the Outlet mall there. I'll keep that in mind. Thanks. I've joined the Gentlemanly Restraint until Christmas group. So this might have to wait a bit.
That said, I'm not willing to give up on this eucris yet, will try some Super lather and/or glycerin first. If I find any kind of success I'll report back

I'm giving up for now, its back in the box and living under the sink. Its just a fluffy mess that dissolves on my face no matter how thick I paint it. It doesn't lubricate enough for a decent shave. If I use my Weishi, I can pull it off because it is mild enough. Just frustrating compared to the other soaps in my den. I'm jealous of the people who can get this thing to work, cause I love the scent.

I’m stumped
I had mixed results with it.
I picked up some Eucris cream to add when using the Eucris soap, you don't need much and the results were good while still retaining the scent.
