For all of those who love wostys.

All original except a bit of careful hand buffing, lots of elbow grease and a tightened pin at the pivot. No machines or heavy resto. Obviously a tiny little character was left over. Enjoy. Oh and the shave? The shave was a thing of beauty. I don't think it was ever honed prior to reaching my mailbox.

How do you go about buffing the gold etch - or do you just buff around it?

How do you go about buffing the gold etch - or do you just buff around it?

I covered the gold and etching with tape and buffed around it, then use a q-tip with some metal polish to get the hard to reach spots, its not perfect but works pretty good. I would rather leave a bit of patina then disturb the work of art on the blade.

Great job. Wolstenholm's are great shavers and very under priced for what you get I think.

I have had 2 "Peerless" razors in time and each was a fantastic shaver. That is an amazing condition one and you seem to have done a fine job polishing it up. Enjoy!!
