Fun with COFFEE

I ask you what are the benefits of your new toy over a French press?
Lyrt

Not sure there is many -I do enjoy the french press but hate the clean up-

DJ may jump in here-
Did you get your camera repaired?

Did you get your camera repaired?

Please do not bring back painful subjects. :c17: It will probably take three to four weeks to have it repaired. If I had not had to lend a huge sum of money to a friend, I’d probably have bought the D200 by now.

Edit: My name's Yukio. I only mentioned it once in my hall of fame entry.

That's good coffee porn. May I ask you what are the benefits of your new toy over a French press? I myself am a coffee addict and use now an Eileen Bodum French press and a La Pavoni PRH. I have two or three expresso coffee makers on my wish list.

The Aeropress will deliver a super clean cup of coffee, not muddy like a french press, while the Technivorm brewer is the only home brewer certified by the SCAA to have the proper (constant) brewing temperature of 198-200f.
DJ.

I’ll do without the aeropress, since I actually like the (not really) muddy texture of the French-press-brewed coffee. The Technivorm, on the other hand, sounds very interesting.

Thank you for the precisions.

I've been enjoying my Technovorm. Aeropress is on a shelf as I finally gave in and use an espresso machine.

@Jim that look amazing. Are you using the Grand TV? If so, did you modify the water arm? It looks like it has multiple outlets, mine only has one.

Thanks,

Moe
