Fuller Restore Project

I got a Fuller brush on eBay and am in the process of restoring it. It's the one with the mold lines on the upper part. I removed the mold lines and then decided to remove the lip at the top, which left a hairline. I may sand it down more to completely remove the hairline, but haven't decided on that. I sanded down the angular band in the middle just a bit, since I'm going for a more rounded look. I still have to polish this baby to a bright shine.

I'm debating whether it gets a 21mm synthetic knot or an 18mm Golden Nib grade A silvertip. I'm leaning towards the former, as I have three 18mm grade A's already.

I guess I'd be considering the artificial too, given that you've already got the same sivlertip in three other handles. Of course, if you already have the knot it's of little matter. You need to use it in something sometime.
