Gentlemen, I appreciate your patience as IsaacRN and I figure out our battle rhythm for this forum. It's a much different experience being the steward here as opposed to simply being a frequent poster.

Pre-shave: Brush soaked in warm water, face & neck washed with warm water for 5 minutes, followed by Proraso Green Tea & Oat Pre-shave
Razor: Merkur 1904 Open Comb razor head with EJ DE89 Barley Chrome handle
Blade: Crystal (Israeli Personna)
Brush: Tweezerman Badger
Cream: Godrej Menthol Mist (blue tube)
Lathering On: Face
Post Shave: Cold water rinse, alum block, witch hazel & rose water toner
Aftershave: Biotique Biograss aftershave gel

Shaving Outcome: DFS with moderate irritation that went away very quickly and a couple of nicks.

Shave of the Day (SOTD) Merkur/Menthol Monday October 29, 2012

• Prep: Brush soaking in cold water, One with Nature Dead Sea Salt Olive Oil Soap, tepid warm shower
• Razor: Merkur 41R 1904 Open Comb mounted to iKon Bulldog Handle
• Blade: Feather Hi-Stainless
• Brush: Semogue SOC Cherrywood Boar
• Cream: Lea Mentholated
• AS: Aqua Velva Classic Ice Blue
• Post: Cold Water Rinse, Double Splash Of Aftershave

Although the 1904 is a mild razor, I find when paired with a Feather it provided a great shave.Three passes with some light buffing on my neck provided near BBS results. A great way to start the work week.
