frankenrazor ID help

[Mr. Imperial]

So I did some meddling around with a few parts culled from various places, and have constructed a frankenrazor that almost looks like it could've come the way it does on purpose . But for the sake of posterity, I just want to be sure I know what I've put together. I'm thinking maybe it's an Old Type open-comb head (no date code, just Gillette and "Made in the U.S.A. on it) paired with a 40s gold ball-end Tech handle. If you can help me out further, especially regarding year, that'd be great. Thanks!

I think you have it right. One question. The cap isn't seated on the blade guard. Is that just for illustration purposes?

Well, more because I just forgot to tighten it down .
