I'm not quite sure why someone would drink pipe and ink cleaner when there is a huge assortment of top notch scotch's and rums out there.

oh, I assure you that it's only an occassional "indulgence", I'm a scotch drinker any other time. Glenfiddich 18, or Johnny Walker Black when my local shop is out of Glenfiddich. In college I drank only Jim Beam 7yr, and from time to time...I'll have a bit of it too *gasp*

I have to make an amendment to this thread, hangs head.

I was playing with my Parker 51, which I haven't touched in years and have no idea what it was inked up with, and BAM...ink all over my hands. I rinsed most of it off in the sink, and then reached for the Everclear. It took all of the mystery ink off the sink and counter, but didn't get it all off of my hands. So, in the interest in full disclosure, Everclear works really well for removing ink from most things...just not this particular ink from my hands.

And here I thought I'd stubbled upon something revolutionary, lol

Id never noticed Everclear, but a few months on here and I see it as many use's other than forgetting holiday weekends.
